Sports streaming network MyCujoo has today announced the latest international football federation to exclusively join its platform. The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) has been streaming content on MyCujoo since 2017 and due to the success of this relationship, OFC will now exclusively use MyCujoo to stream all live content and build their D2C relationship with players and fans.
Over this two-year agreement, MyCujoo’s technology will allow OFC to reach a global audience and the service will be provided at no cost to the fans. This is MyCujoo’s latest partnership with an international football governing body, adding to the ongoing partnership with the Asian Football Confederation. The deal further confirms the credentials of the unique service MyCujoo is providing association football at all levels.
“We are very excited to further develop our relationship with OFC with this exclusive partnership.” said Pedro Presa, CEO and co-founder of MyCujoo. “This agreement is the latest step toward our goal of closing the gap between grassroot and elite level football. We can’t wait to share the several hundreds of thousands of talented players in this region with our global audience, and continue to bring the world of football closer together.”
The players will be a specific focus for MyCujoo, with new features empowering players featured on the platform to claim their digital profile, own and share their individual contents. This will allow both MyCujoo and OFC to engage with the player community and encourage these communities to generate their own content.
Commenting on the new agreement, Franck Castillo, OFC General Secretary said;
“The support we have had from MyCujoo since the beginning has been wonderful and I am certain this is just the beginning of what will be a long relationship.
“This is an exciting opportunity for us to build on the digital footprint of football in Oceania and it is an honour to be doing so with a company at the forefront of digital streaming worldwide.”
This agreement marks another step in MyCujoo’s growth over the last five years. Since its formation in the summer of 2014, MyCujoo’s influence in football has grown dramatically. It now exclusively streams football matches from around the world, and has positioned itself as the leading force aiming to democratize not just football, but wider sport as well. No one else is in MyCujoo’s position of being able to provide its technology for free to both rightsholder and viewer. This makes the MyCujoo platform accessible to a global audience of football fans, and empowers federations, leagues and even individual players to control their own content.
